The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index was down by 1.75 points or 0.11% to close at 1,574.97 points Wednesday afternoon. The SET50 index was at 997.63 points, down 2.77 points or 0.28%, in trade worth 18.87 billion baht. The MAI index went up 1.19 points or 0.20% to stand at 593.52 points with transaction value of 3.02 billion baht. Local institutions and foreign investors were net buyers of 2.07 billion baht and 157 million baht respectively. Brokers and retail investors were net sellers of 300 million baht and 1.92 billion baht respectively.
